About the brand
A nail polish brand built around the artist you already are, Happy Rudy makes 10-free, vegan, and cruelty-free polishes designed and produced in Toronto. Founder Kristin Walcott-Dass brings over a decade in the nail art community to the brand, and launched Happy Rudy to address two gaps she’d noticed firsthand: a shortage of boutique polish options in Canada and limited colour ranges that flatter brown and black skin tones.
The line spans cremes, glitters, shimmers, jellies, and eco-glitter polishes, alongside curated collections like Midnight Romance, Studio 54, and Masquerade. Walcott-Dass holds a Master of Arts in Media, Culture, and Communication from NYU and brings her branding and communications background to every aspect of the business, from formulation to the inclusive ethos that shapes what colours make it into the collection.
