About the brand

Melanie Cheung is a contemporary abstract artist whose work captures the intangible—those quiet emotional undercurrents that defy easy articulation. Working with fluid layers of paint and mixed media, she creates thoughtful, atmospheric pieces shaped by organic forms and a considered use of colour. Each painting is a balance between careful intention and intuitive gesture, resulting in subtle narratives that invite slow looking. Based in Hamilton, Ontario, Melanie draws on a background in fashion design and over a decade in the Montreal creative scene. Her work has been exhibited at The Artist Project and ART FAIR | DETROIT, and is represented by AGH Sales & Services, Tacit Collective, and Art Match. Her paintings are part of private collections across Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
