A love letter to Vietnamese heat and the “spicy” women who shaped the founder, Rude Mama Hot Sauce brings a hidden gem of Vietnamese chili culture to Canadian tables. The brand started as a homesickness project after founder moved to Canada in 2017 and couldn’t find a hot sauce that delivered real flavour first and heat second, rather than the vinegary or blow-torch options lining most shelves.
Two years of recipe development produced a line of small-batch sauces made by hand from simple, high-quality, vegan ingredients, with no added flavours or MSG. The range spans Original, Mango, Passion Fruit, and Pineapple, each bright and balanced enough to cook with daily rather than reserve for special occasions. Rude Mama is designed for weeknight stir-fries, Sunday seafood, and every greasy, cheesy meal in between.
