About the brand
Created by curl expert and salon owner Kim, Shyft Texture grew out of her experience developing products that could keep curls healthy through Manitoba’s dry, changing seasons. Kim has more than 30 years of experience working with textured hair, and after opening her all-texture salon in Winnipeg in 2008 she found that she was disappointed with professional curl products that didn’t perform. This is when Kim began formulating her own products and treatments.
The line is made in small batches in Winnipeg and formulas combine curl-enhancing ingredients that help hair absorb moisture, maintain definition and structure, and support a healthy scalp. Shyft Texture serves both professional stylists and people looking to care for their natural curls at home.
