Sugarhouse Ceramic Co.
Hand-carved palettes, patterned mugs, and coastal-inspired ceramics come to life in this East Coast studio where two potters infuse every piece with craft and a whole lot of heart.
About the brand
What began as a creative partnership inside a lovingly restored Airstream has grown into a full-fledged ceramics studio shaped by curiosity, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to place. Brett and Natasha’s work blends the charm of their nomadic beginnings with the textures and stories of the Maritimes—think beach-shell castings, native flora, hand-painted mackerel, and pieces that feel like they were made steps from the shoreline (because they are).
Now working from their downtown Kentville studio, they create small-batch ceramics that feel warm, personal, and unmistakably East Coast. Their commitment to community runs just as deep as their love for good design and their space doubles as a spot for workshops, friendly visits, and the occasional latte-fuelled creative session. These are pieces made to be used, cherished, and passed along.
