VIGYL reimagines what a candle brand can be—provocative, personal, and unapologetically expressive. Founded by designer Stephen Michlits, this queer-led Canadian studio blends fragrance and form to create sensory objects that transform how space feels—and what it says about you. Each small-batch candle is hand-poured in Canada using a clean-burning soy wax blend and bespoke fragrance compositions, housed in minimalist vessels inspired by industrial oil drums—symbols of heat, rebirth, and gathering. VIGYL offers an antidote to the overly “wellness-washed” world of scent, championing self-expression over self-care and inviting you to light with intention.
