About the brand
Salon-quality gel manicures, reimagined for the person doing their own nails at home. Gelcare grew out of Le Manoir, a Montreal nail salon founded in 2012 and known for custom gel colours and nail-strengthening care. Founder Emilie, frustrated with the products available to her own salon team, set out with chemists and industry experts to formulate better ones.
The result is a clean-beauty gel system built for at-home use, anchored by the Gelcare Starter Kit (which offers the cost equivalent of four salon visits for unlimited manicures), alongside a growing range of gel polishes, traditional nail polishes, nail care essentials, and accessories. The line now ships worldwide from Montreal, available exclusively online and at Le Manoir, where every formulation still gets tested by the salon’s in-house artists.
